It’s just me, rambling again — I had not known about the short film Pete mentioned, “Soul in a Suitcase,” but fortunately it is on YouTube, and I just checked it out.
Pretty neat, and it had part of Pete’s performance that he talked about at the Apollo!
Johnny
Thanks Johnny. I was wondering if it might be out there.
I was just wondering … Is a coincidence that Pete Michaels named Woody D’s white replacement Buddy and Warner Bros did the same with their cartoon characters Bosko and their Buddy?
Buddy’s name came about because it was the closest thing I could find to Woody.
Also, his character was based loosely on a guy I knew from Brooklyn.
