so what kind of shows do you perform uh
right now the only shows I’m doing now
are action brother shows and so we do
corporate shows and theater shows our
show we build ourselves as the dynamic
duo of comedy magic and um our show is
different than most magic shows um what
we try to do is we try to take what
um it the normal magician illusion
whatever it would happen to be the Azra
the Azra is is a levitation bit i don’t
know if you’re familiar with that or not
it’s levitation you used to do magic for
years oh did you okay oh yeah well the
with the as a lot of times what you have
is you have real serious music dark
lighting and and the girl lays on on
something and and you cover or whatever
then this and she come pins her eyes and
it’s it’s almost spooky but it’s it’s
cool you know it’s really cool keep
Copperfield does the one now where he has
her lie down has fountain underneath her
mhm that’s kind of cool but uh we’re
going to do something different we call
it brothering it up because we’re the
action brothers we’re going to brother
it up so uh what we do is is uh uh we
introduce the bit and uh Johnny uh tells
tells the audience he’s going to
hypnotize his brother now while he’s
doing that I’m thinking he’s going to
hypnotize Miss our assistant
Misdirection that’s her name
misdirection so he think he’s going to
introduce or going to hypnotize her so I
reach back there toward her and all of a
sudden she starts laughing because he’s
chosen me i don’t want to choose me
don’t choose me and so she goes back
behind the thing and so I walk up to
there toward him and he uh tries to
hypnotize me i can’t do it the music’s
it’s the old
um one of the bat early Batman themes
that it’s kind of a real heavy
mysterious kind of music and lights are
kind of low and so on and nothing’s
happening you got to watch and nothing’s
happening and so uh I finally he finally
talks to the sound man the imaginary
sound man talk listen listen work any
other music and so then uh um P Herman’s
big breakfast I think or whatever it is
it’s d that song anyway that that song
comes on and that’s what he hypnotizes
me too so I get I get rigid he touches
me and I fall back and but before he
does that I let the audience know I’m
not really hypnotized I’m just messing
with him so cuz he walks in front of me
and I turn around the audience and he
walks back in front of me again and so
he throws a drape over me and comes up
and and so I rise and so he whips the
the cover off curtain off me walks over
takes a bow of course I’m on my hands
and knees you know with her legs
sticking out looking at him and so I’m
laughing at him and I go back to
misdirection and standing there turns
out she’s really hypnotized she really
got I didn’t but she but she did and so
we mess with her just a little bit and
so we cover her with the with the with
the curtain standing up okay cover her
and lean her back and she becomes then
we make the switch for the Azra so then
we carry it forward and uh um you know
he does a little bit this bit where she
rises and falls and I take a a very big
hula hoop and put them all through the
hula hoop and then I take it and so when
I take it he is saying like this and all
a sudden the weight comes back on you
know so I’m can come over and help me
about this time m the real misdirection
comes around the corner with the with
the hula hoop touches my shoulder i look
at her dump the Azra look at her like
this and it’s
tada you know but it’s it’s a lot of fun
but that’s what we do we end up we end
up u taking uh uh traditional tricks and
brother and we open up with a sub trunk
where everything works normal like a
normal sub trunk does except that we
can’t find the key to get the girl
unlocked with and so we’re running out
of time so I shove her back in the trunk
lock the trunk and shove her off the
stage and so later on when they call
call for her uh to come out he wants to
introduce her he’s still locked up so I
have to come out for her and take the
rings and do what I’m doing but it’s
it’s fun it’s a lot of fun this the the
puppets u we use the puppet for a
minimalism bit okay
um we have been having it so that Johnny
goes out into the audience and calls
back to me and and and probably answers
he’s blindfolded at one point then I’m
blindfolded another point and but I
think what we’re going to do now is I
think we’re going to switch it so that I
blindfold Farley and we take him out
into the audience and then we blindfold
Johnny up on stage too of course I can
still see but I got to walk around see
so that’s what I can see and so then we
I Farley will call back to him rather
than me him calling back to me
