Here in the United States it is Memorial Day, a time to remember and honor our veterans. My father was a gunner on the Bonhomme Richard in WWII. He only talked about his experience once when he sat with his brother Norman for an interview. I learned so much watching that video, and it made me respect the man even more.

To my father, may he Rest In Peace – and all other veterans, living and deceased, thank you for your sacrifice.
