At the 2014 Vent Haven ConVENTion, I sat down with the legend, Willie Tyler for a personal interview for the International Ventriloquist Society. This is a short clip from the introduction and includes some interaction with Lester. Willie decided he wanted Lester to take part in the interview. To say I was excited is an understatement!
As a kid growing up in the 1970’s, I saw Willie and Lester on television. Lester was also made by Madeline Maher, making him a very valuable piece of ventriloquism’s history. Getting to watch the interaction between Willie and Lester first hand was a treat. Viewers will get to be the fly on the wall – and I encourage everyone to study the relationship Willie has with Lester in the video.
