While the junior vents are enjoying Junior Vent University, everyone else has been in the Blockbuster Workshops.
This morning we have:
- Developing Character Voices with Bob Rumba
- Improving Your Likability with Al Moessinger
- Ventriloquism Off The Cuff with Alan Semok
If you’ve never been to the conVENTion, we divide the main showroom in half, with a lecture on each side, and the third is held in the Cincinnati Room off the Atrium. Participants will only get the chance to attend two (or come and go). The first lecture is held from 9:00 – 10:15 AM – then they repeat from 10:30 – 11:45 AM.
A lot of people wish the conVENTion would record and sell the lectures, but that isn’t possible. The lecturer’s own the rights to their material. They are able to create a product if they wish. Steve Petra did that with his lecture video.
Although you aren’t there, which lectures would you have enjoyed seeing? Let me know in the comments below!
Oh – and if you were interested in Developing Character Voices, consider checking out my course: Vocal Versatility available here on the Learn-Ventriloquism site!
I’d be interested in hearing what Al Moessinger has to say about improving our likability
All three I’m sure would be entertaining and instructive, though off the bat I’d check out “Improving Your Likability.” Not sure what “Ventriloquism Off the Cuff, would be about just from the title, unless it’s about ad libs, maybe?
Johnny
I think that I would attend Developing Character Voices with Bob Rumba & Ventriloquism Off The Cuff with Alan Semok. Now my wife, who will also be a first timer next year said she would do, Improving Your Likability with Al Moessinger and Ventriloquism Off The Cuff with Alan Semok. I hope to be able to clone myself by next year and go to all three!
I think the character voices and the “off the cuff” sessions would be most appealing to me. I’ve been meaning to check out your voices course, Tom. It looks really helpful!
